Here I would like to share with you on the issue that I hit during a Create Recovery Point.
When I tried to create the recovery point, the message that I got was at the following screen.

Thus, I login to the targeted client that is reporting to this particular DPM. The client is MY-VM-SVR-FS001.
Open the Server Manager, drill down to Configuration – Services. On the right pane, look for DPM Writer service, then start it.
Go back to the DPM server that this client is reporting, then Create Recovery Point. It will go through.
